The CUTSRF program reduces the size of a given .srf file,
extracting the specified region of interest and writing it out to a file
called cutsrf.srf.
Run CUTSRF by typing: cutsrf.
You will be asked:-
Enter name of input .srf density file. Supply the name of the
file in question.
Enter map-format required: (Q)uanta, (C)CP4, (S)ybyl, (I)nsightII or
(N)one. Enter whichever is appropriate.
The program will then read in your .srf file and show you its
coordinate ranges.
Enter new minimum and maximum x-coords. Enter two numbers,
separated by spaces, for the required range of x-coordinates (which
must lie within the limits of the current .srf file). (The numbers
will be rounded up or down to the coordinates of the nearest grid-points in
the original .srf file).
Enter new minimum and maximum y-coords. Repeat for the
y-coordinates.
Enter new minimum and maximum z-coords. Repeat for the
z-coordinates.
