O version 6.2 Release Notes (980228)
F(ast)_m(ap) commands work with all of the widely used crystallogrpahic map formats. These commands include the usual contouring, and RSR functions, plus some new ideas. Note that a residue based goodness of fit indicator has yet to be implemented with these commands.
Density Pulldowns allow the user to control density contouring in real time, and use the Fm related RSR commands, secondary structure tracing commands
Secondary structure tracing, in combination with the Fm_* system and new density pulldowns
New RSR commands (group, torsion, rotamer) for use with Fm maps.
Extended Grab commands for model manipulation using the mouse
Dial-less command useage using the mouse/Ctrl combination instead of a dial box.
When the program is first started, a macro on_startup is activated. This can be used to load maps for the Fm_* commands, for example. This is part of O customization.
When the program is first started, a macro on_startup_message is activated. This can be used by the local O administrator to inform users of the latest version, for example.
New command window_open to open a moveable window and to place it somewhere on the 3D screen
Baton_build now recentres and activates the macro on_baton_yes when the user hits Yes to accept a new coordinate. The macro could instructions to recontour, for example.
Db_set_group - set a parameter block to a value for all atoms in a group
New Rebuild pull-down and associated children
Graph now works correctly, colouring according to the atom colour or CA colour (for residue properties)
RSC atom mismatch in residue/ database, now fixed and warning
Smooth cylinders generate a plot output instruction
Key <esc> acts as Quit command
DEC alpha needs access code. Just run the O and send me the code that is writen on the keywboard.
Mutate commands delete connectivity file, and sketch CA_idx file. The <mo>_atom_select property for replaced or inserted atoms is now 1. All objects associated with teh molecule are now deleted.
Bug in routine tioins, hard to explain but affected sym_sphere, sym_object, mutate_replace .... commands under some circuntances.
There's more but ....
