	Tutorial

Introduction

The tutorials are intended to be stand-alone entities, and can be worked through separately. At the beginning of every tutorial is a section describing the directories and files needed for that particular tutorial.

In these tutorials, actions you are required to perform will be displayed in bold, with the crucial words in bold CCP4bluegrey letters.

Before you start

Before entering the Interface:

1. create a directory in which you can store files to do with these tutorials, e.g.
   type (in your home directory!) mkdir ccp4itut
2. it is advisable to
   start a Netscape session by typing netscape (you may have to specify a version, e.g. netscape30 or netscape4.05)
   but since you are here, you have started one already!

Starting an Interface session

With the setup as it is now, assuming you are already set up to use CCP4 programs, the first Interface 'command' is simple: type
